Do you think?

I just want to know some views on a Believer being involved in government could be? I personally do not want any of the stimulus money. I live in a city where the mayor wants the money. I live in a state that declined most of the stimulus money. And I live in a nation that is spiraling into debt faster the space shuttle gets out of orbit. How do we respond and act towards these things with out being a passivist?
