I am about to enter my last semester in my Master's of Divinity at NOBTS. I am so excited about finishing up but I may begin to search out a doctoral program to be a part of in (Ph.D. in New Testament Studies). As most know by now I love the Gospel of Mark. Read the Gospel if you get a chance. Then read it again at a bit of a slower pace and see what the Holy Spirit challenges you with and encourages you in as you walk by faith.
My wonderful family and I are going to pack up on Christmas Eve and head to the Hudson Family households and enjoy a little time in Georgia. I cannot wait to see all my family for Christmas. I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas and safe traveling.
One other fact that I have not shared is the books that I am reading at the moment. I have a long book list because of school, otherwise I would only ready 3 at a time.
- Mere Christianity
- Miracles
- To Everyon an Answer
- Creation Out of Nothing
- Not the Way It Is Supposed to Be
- Searching for God Knows What
- When God Goes to Starbucks
- Rethinking Church
These are all great books and I do not suggest reading them all at once like this it sometimes tends to be information overload. Mere Christianity has been wonderful again. Craig and Copan are amazing in Creation Out of Nothing.
I have much more to share but I must hold off unitl next time. Hopefully and prayerfully it will not be as long as it has been this time.
In Christ
