The Root of Happiness for Resurrection Sunday

So, I asked a great number of people today if they had a good Easter. Most responded with yes it was great. Many people talked about their time with family and great meals that they ate. Others probably had some experience that was similar but over all very few spoke about what the true root of happiness on Easter or Resurrection Sunday truly is.
Do you know?

One person told me that they did think that people wanted to hear about the root of the meaning of Easter. I was taken back. The root of Resurrection Sunday is the most significant even in history. Some may disagree but I ask how does one stay true to the Resurrection history and think otherwise.

The Root of Resurrection Sunday:

On the week, before Jesus died he entered Jerusalem for the last time. He would not get a chance to leave or return. The plan was set in motion by many events. What was the plan you may ask? The plan was for Jesus to experience the Cross of guilt and shame so that those of us who truly desire to have a relationship with the Most High God of this Universe can have it. In no other way was this possible. We can never muster up enough merit or good things that could convince God to allow us to partake in a Father-Child, Lover-Loved, and Grace-given Grace-received relationship. God's divine plan to allow Jesus his one and only begotten Son to die on that shameful cross on Good Friday is truly an amazing plan.

On Resurrection Sunday, the sun rose and the women found the tomb to be empty. God killed the darkness that hung over the earth and our lives in the three days that his Holy Son was sealed in the tomb. By killing, this darkness Jesus made is possible for me to say to you here, your sins are forgiven. That is right our sinfulness, the thing that is wrong with us as humanity was crushed by Jesus dieing and resurrection on Resurrection Sunday.

This is the root of the happy times that we should have had on Easter. Jesus Lives so that we can live also. Jesus lives so that death has no sting and to pay the debt payment for us the exists because of our sinfulness. How much more amazing would our Resurrection Sunday have been if this was our focus. The greatest thing is history gets celebrated once a year. If you are a believer you should marvel in this fact everyday not just once a year. If you do not know what it means to be a believer please dialogue with me so that I may help you in your journey of life. I love Resurrection Sunday because Christ lives and that is what I can proclaim to the world.

Resurrection Sunday was wonderful for me because my Savior, Jesus who was crucified is my Living God.
